Infant Chiropractic Care
Infants experience rapid physical and neurological development during their first months of life. Chiropractic care for infants uses gentle, age-appropriate techniques that are adapted to each infant's size, development, comfort, and clinical presentation. Care may include gentle chiropractic and craniosacral techniques when appropriate, with the goal of addressing musculoskeletal tension, movement restrictions, and areas of asymmetry identified during an examination.
Infant-specific techniques may be considered as part of a broader approach to care for concerns such as:
Torticollis and limited neck movement
Positional preferences and movement asymmetries
Digestive discomfort
Sleep disturbances
Colic and fussiness
Feeding-related difficulties
Ear infections
Musculoskeletal discomfort following birth
When an infant presents with a concern that may require medical evaluation or care beyond chiropractic scope, appropriate referral to the child's pediatrician or another qualified healthcare professional is recommended.
Pediatric Chiropractic Care
Children are constantly growing, learning, and developing new movement skills. From early childhood through adolescence, changes in activity, sports, posture, and everyday movement can place new demands on a growing body. Pediatric chiropractic care focuses on the musculoskeletal system and is tailored to each child's age, development, comfort, and individual needs.
Pediatric care may also include developmental and neurological assessments, including evaluation of primitive reflexes and age-appropriate movement patterns. When appropriate, findings from these assessments are incorporated into the child's individualized care plan and may include movement-based activities and exercises to support coordination, motor development, and functional movement.
Care may be helpful for children experiencing:
Musculoskeletal discomfort or joint pain
Movement limitations or asymmetries
Sports-related injuries and recovery
Headaches
Postural concerns
Muscle tension or discomfort
Changes in movement associated with growth and activity
Difficulty with focus, attention, or concentration
Challenges with coordination or motor skills
Techniques are selected based on the child's age, size, development, clinical presentation, and comfort.
Prenatal & Postpartum Chiropractic Care
Pregnancy brings major changes to the body as it adapts to a growing baby. Changes in posture, mobility, and the demands placed on the pelvis and surrounding muscles can contribute to aches and discomfort. Prenatal chiropractic care focuses on helping patients stay comfortable, mobile, and active throughout pregnancy.
Care is individualized to each patient's stage of pregnancy, symptoms, activity level, and clinical findings. Prenatal care may be helpful for:
Low back and pelvic pain
Pelvic girdle discomfort
Sciatica and related leg discomfort
Rib and mid-back discomfort
Hip and muscle tension
Postural and movement changes
General musculoskeletal discomfort during pregnancy
Having a baby changes more than your schedule. Pregnancy, delivery, feeding, carrying, and caring for a newborn can all place new demands on the body. Postpartum chiropractic care can help address these physical changes and support a comfortable return to normal movement and activity.
Pregnancy and postpartum care is collaborative. When additional evaluation or care is appropriate, we may recommend working alongside your OB/GYN, midwife, doula, or other healthcare provider.
Adult Chiropractic Care
Life can put a lot of demands on the body. Work, exercise, sports, repetitive activities, and everyday movement can all contribute to pain, stiffness, and changes in how we move. Chiropractic care focuses on the musculoskeletal system and is individualized to each patient's needs, goals, and clinical findings.
Care may be helpful for:
Low back pain and stiffness
Neck pain and stiffness
Headaches
Sciatica
Joint pain and mobility concerns
Sports and work-related injuries
Postural concerns
Muscle tension and discomfort
General aches and pains associated with an active lifestyle
Treatment may include chiropractic adjustments, movement recommendations, and other appropriate strategies to help patients move comfortably and function at their best.
Acupuncture & Dry Needling
Acupuncture is a Traditional Chinese Medicine technique that uses fine, sterile needles inserted at specific points on the body. Treatment is individualized and may be used to support pain management, relaxation, and overall well-being.
Dry needling uses fine needles to target muscles and myofascial trigger points and may help reduce muscle tension, relieve pain, and improve movement.
Acupuncture and dry needling may be used as standalone treatments or incorporated into a broader treatment plan when appropriate.
Acupuncture & dry needling may be helpful for:
Acute or chronic pain
Muscle tension and discomfort
Myofascial trigger points
Headaches and migraines
Neck and back discomfort
Sports-related muscle soreness and recovery
Relaxation and stress management
Sleep difficulties and insomnia
Digestive complaints, such as nausea, bloating, or digestive discomfort
Menstrual discomfort
Pregnancy-related musculoskeletal discomfort and nausea, when appropriate
